Default cas3 interface

Hello,

I am new in the dragoncam world. I have a t-rex module and a cas3 interface. I bought the cas3 since i undestood that then you do not need a loader card but you program the module directly. i am trying to understand the steps i need to take and so far what i understand is:
1. Load the latest predator firmware (3.42) with dragoncrypt
2. Load the keys in the module.
I have read that this can be done manually or automatically.... i find keys that can be edited manually and then i find as well "softcamkey for dragoncam" which i can install in the dreambox. Finally, i wanted to watch E-entertaiment on BT which goes with cryptoworks, so i wonder what i should do, do i need to program the keys in the module with a key editor or just load the softcamkey in the dreambox and select the common interface in the dreambox with the dragomcan inserted,....

Muchas gracias !

David

Default Hi

:hi: It is quite easy to do either using a remote on your sat receiver or using cas 3. I have to be honest I normally just reload an updated firmware as so many change the keys daily! If you want to update individual keys using cas 3. Start cas 3 studio 6.9 click on utilities tab and then click on common interface host! Insert Dragon cam in lower slot, cam should initialize and state firmware version! Hilight with mouse and enter selected proceed to debug and do the same. This will show types of encryption pick what you need to update and proceed. make sure you know the keys you need to change and that they are in correct format!!! Hope this helps!

Hola,

Many thanks for taking time to reply. I follow your instructions and i understand now how to update manually the keys:-)
Somehow i still cannot see for example Cifra + or Canal Digital, i still have black screen while the keys are actually in the softcamkey file,... i guess i am doing something wrong so i will check the whole thing again

Thanks again :-)
