hi m8, they will be free to air soon, but a the moment
you need a free view card and a dragon cam to receive those channels
with the receiver you have.the card is the one that has the yellow house on it and it's a one off payment for it, and if your only interested in astra 28e you need one of the providers boxes and a card. then you dont need the cam for the card to open these chns:.you have a good receiver but
to get the best from it it needs to be set-up on a motorised system
and patched that way you will have access to many film, sport, discovery
nat geo chns: plus a lot more on various sats. on any other receiver you
need a dragon cam with the right firmware on it to emulate the original stb
so the card works and opens these chns: this is a expensive way to go
as a dragon cam and programmer will cost you about the same as you
paid for your receiver. if your not sure what patching is there are
video files in the download erea, download them and when you view them
it will explain just how much you can get from your receiver and the only
other thing you need is a null modem cable to keep the receiver updated.
