I have to go with the Godfather movies. Even though the last one was not as great. I enjoyed these movies and the acting I thought was great in the movies.

The Evil Dead trilogy by a country mile! I know they aren't cinematic gold but i love em! I saw army of darkness when i was about 12 and it's been my favourite film since. The original is obviously awesome and i like the second too but the third is genius. Ash's one liners are classic.

No Lord of the Rings trilogy?! What gives? I can't believe someone didn't have that there. It's golden! Very well crafted, fairly true to the books, well acted. How can you not add it to the list?!

I never even thought of the Lord of the Rings but you are right they were very good. I really enjoyed the books the most though.
