hi my dbox hangs when it gets to the nutreno stage then when you press a button on the remote it reboots ?
tried flashing but cant get it too flash using flash assistant , says cant find com port and then give an error in german which i cant understand.
but have got it to say flashing on the dbox screen but then that hangs and does nothing any ideas please

a dual chip box takes approximatley 2 minutes and 13 seconds to flash, a single chip box can take up to 15 ot 20 minutes to flash, so even though it appears to have crashed, it probably hasnt.

just try to flash again using latest commando image if it is a nokia, if it is a sagem then use lincsats images as he optimizes them for sagems

Make sure all your Anti-Virus and firewall software is turned off before flashing. Have you run the Windows XP Mediasensing patch?

i have fixed it thankx
i have 2 sat dboxes can i flash it so it works on cable ?
or is there an image that works for sky in englang ?

You can't use a sat dbox on cable as it uses a different tuner. I don't know much about satellite images, Sky UK is NOT hacked and discussion about hacking Sky is not allowed, but it may be possible to get an image that lets you use a valid sky card in the dbox.
