hi to all,

i'am planning to buy Dreambox and wanted to know if i can use pc(windows) to use it , and i have no knowledge in linux

yes u can use your pc but the best option would be a dreambox

Dreambox works fine together with Windows PC. Linux knowledge is not a must to get started. But I think You'll get interested and want to know some basics when You get it. There's a lot to gain, if You learn just a little.

If You got a router and an extra network (straight through) cable, You'll do fine.
If Your planning on buying a DM 500, You'll need a null modem cable as well, if You intend to install images with lots of extra features. On bigger boxes You just need Your network connection.
A DSL connection would give You additional benefits.
