Hi Guys,
I have 2 stb's humax 5400 z plus and i tried connecing them both to my motorized dish via a 2 way splitter... obviously i dont turn them them on at the same cos i think it is possible to fry the motor... but its been 1 week and it was working fine until this morning... when i turned my stb on, the motor didnt work... i am sure the 2 stb's were never turned on at the same time and i have also bypassed the splitter and connected it directly but it didnt work... but current is going trough the motor cos an orange led is on... means its not working correctly. by the way i am using a dual lnb but the second lnb wire is not connected. could it be that the dual lnb takes up more current than a single one and that the motor is not supposed to be connected with a dual one? 10xx in advance. |

you may have a reset button on the motor, some it is a pin hole other you press two buttons together. but one thing i know is that you should not put two receivers to the motor by a splitter better to use the loop through on the receiver if you have one
edit:whoops didn't realise the thread was so old |
