Apparently Google is going to be offering unlimited space to store videos. The bigger the better they seem to want.
Here are the upload guidelines for Google Video: http://video.google.com/support/bin/...562&topic=8690 This is pretty interesting stuff for sure. |

Trouble is from what I've heard you have to download software and mess about with it to upload to Google Video, and there can still be technical problems.
You Tube - whatever the file, whatever the format, you simply upload - and tis done. |

I don't think it will be as good as YouTube. I've only watched on Google video and that's something I was directed to. I just think that Google is a little too late for this one.

Google likes to toy around with the idea of thinking they will be competition. For awhile there was talk of them trying to rival Microsoft in every aspect. ( never happend) That they were suppose to have a better merchant system than Paypal. Made a hype about it. It's out and completly useless.
Goolge competes against Yahoo as a search Engine. And yes Yahoo maybe 2nd to Google but to me they seem to be neck and neck. I find it annoying of Google and their useless daily indexing of pages. Nothing ever seems the same for more than 12 hours or more. Other than adsense(lmao - ok), Adwords, Page ranking and images is as far as they go with me. Even if they want to compete. |

I think I'm with Brian, I don't like the idea of having to download software on to my computer for this.
I'll most wait a bit before I try it let them iron out some of the bugs. |
