Hi all - I'm considering buying a Eurovox Max, and would be greatful if I could have a kind of general feedback on their reliability etc.
Another thing I would like to ask, is do these boxes have an ethernet connection on the back for broadband, as my current cable box also supplies my broadband connection. Thank you |

None of the "alternate" cable boxes provide internet as well (although there are hacked cable modems about). The dbox2 has an ethernet port for connecting to the PC, you can use that for updates as well as recording TV to the PC and playing back Movies and MP3's from the PC.
In any case you are better keeping some subscribed equipment connected to the cable network, if you cancel all your subscriptions, the cableco could cut the cable feed to your house. |
