Renault number is 8200013774. Software number 52E3 Hardware number VAR EO5.

Question 1) Does anyone have any pinouts? I think the dash is faulty but I have no wiring diagram or pinouts.

Question 2) Do these regularly go wrong? the car is 2000 but the calibration sticker says 30/03/2001 on pcb and 02/04/2001 on plastic back so I think it has already had new clocks.

Questio 3) Does anyone know what might be wrong so I can fix it. It has a motorolla mcu MC68HC908A260 and is similar to the Audi TT dash (as are the problems).

One day the rev counter, speedo, srs light, mile counter, management light, fuel gauge, temperature gauge and abs light stopped working also light tell tale lamps (main beam and dipped beam) work correctly but the dash illumination does not work. Sometimes the fuel level and engine temperature needles pulse slightly and the mile counter light flashes. I checked the fuses and earths etc, and read the fault codes and got only P0460 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Malfunction. I unpluged and plugged it back in at the tank then cleared the code and it went away. Then the battery went flat. I started it using a battery pack and it all worked ok, then when driving it I got up to 60 MPH and all the dials froze. When I switched the ignition on and off they all stayed where they were. I disconnected and reconnected the battery and all the gauges went to the bottom but didnt work again.

The stop light, battery light and the indicator light all still work OK.

Any clues?
