Hi dudes

Ive just brought myself a technomate 7755 box on a motorised dish and i am trying to get my head around the patching side of things. I have downloaded and installed the lasted darkman patch and now have access to the cas key input menu. However im not sure as to what keys im supposed to update. I downloaded the softcam.key file but i think this may be for the 1500 model? Ive read somewhere that i have to update Key 21 and 22 in the Viacess area of the CAS menu using the AES keys - i cannot find the AES keys anywhere. Ive also read that I have to update keys for nagra and edit number 45 and 46 and change the key 00 to 02? Is there a definitive list of which ones im supposed to update and where i get the keys from?

hi m8,
to add keys, you cant use a softcam key file. the only way is
to enter them with the remote. numbers with the key pad 0 to 9.
letters with the coloured buttons, ie: red=a, green=b, yellow=c, blue=d, uhf=e, sleep=f,
you got to a channel that you want to enter the keys for.
then press mute then exit and a panel opens for you to enter the keys.
ie: for tps/multivision you enter the first set eight keys on line 21
then press yellow to store, then press mute then exit and then enter the second set of eight keys on line 22 and then
yellow to store. then you change channels and then will open
if they dont go back to the keys menu and check that you've entered them correctly. you will find a key finder in the download erea, the key finder
is in the keys section, it's cap-keys keyfinder. download it then when
you need keys this will give you the latest keys to use.
different providers use different idents ie:21/22 etc, the key finder
shows which ident line to enter the keys on.

hi, if your only useing the patch,and your system is motorised
on astra 19e you can enter keys and view premiere german chns
some are in english if you change the audio to the second german setting.
these's easy tv and a few music chns, on hotbird 13e it's very difficult
as the keys are changing every few minutes plus a few others that are open
there are also chns on 1w/8w/30w there are a number of chns.
you need to enter mediapark keys for them,
i have a tm 7755 but never patch, they dont update often enough to
keep pace with the encryption changes. i use the dragon cam and find
it better for updates very fast, have a look at the doc attachment to
show what the dragon cams opening at this time, and if anymore updates
come it can handle them.
