Dbox2 and Satellite

Hi,

Sorry all I should have put this under help and not info:

I have recently hooked up a Dbox2 inplace of my Pace box and it works just great. If I buy a Dbox2 for Satellite connection will it work in the same way as my cable version does, I.E take the Sky box away and replace it with a Dbox2?

Thanks

Lee

You cannot get sky satellite in this way, you still need a valid card for that.

Hi Lincsat,

Thanks for the info, could you tell me what I would get out of the box described below, if anything?

NOKIA DBOX2 for SATELLITE (NOT CABLE) in debug mode this means the box has linux neutrino installed including english image so menus are in english.

If you have a motorized dish, you will get lots of FTA channels, not sure what encrypted packages you can get ATM - probably Premiere and TPS/Multivision.
