updating eurovox 2
hi all i just got this information from another source so if anyone is having problems with updating try this and let me know if it worked
1) Go into main menu and then choose Language Settings. 2) Input the magic number 1968 to enable the hidden options at the bottom. 3) Input 1968 AGAIN to enter the encryption keys area. Here you will find eight areas, which you can select with the left and right keys, containing numerous keys. DELETE every single one of them in all areas. Exit and SAVE. 4) Power box down for a few seconds then power it back up. Select an encrypted channel, one of the Movies for example, and wait 30 to 60 seconds while it captures the current keys from the stream. 5) Once picture appears it should then work as before but, as in my case anyway, with fewer "Updating Data" pop-ups and a shorter time to update when it has to. There will now be only two keys in the NagraVision section, at least that's how mine is now. If you are in any way doubtful as to whether this may help you then please let someone who is having these problems, and knows their way around a Eurovox, do the above and wait till they report back with their findings. |

Hi think the only way around the code updating problem is to follow one of the excellent guides stickied by the mods they are very concise and easy (they must be i followed them)
Spend a couple of quid at a fair at the weekend on the cableand use a pc rather than a laptop and all should be well |
