hello had a few sagem dbox2 which friends now have
but now a coulpe of people are saying the remote puts it into standby , they say they have put new batteries in with this issue
can anyone help

Do you mean that any use of the remote puts them into standby or pressing the off button puts them into standby?

All I can think of ATM is to try a different image, I know there's a flag in the config file for different remote types but can't remember where it is.
