Hello, exist some manual howto upgrade firmware in echolink 888fta? Because i do it first time with aliminiupg4, but when i switch on my receiver, it is nothin changed. I wanna have new firmware to watch prem, pols, tps...

Premiere works ok here (on Echolink 888) with some freezes but not AU.

Tried downloading newest files by emilio 9/1/09. Can't seem to get them to open. Tried winzip and winrar. Is there something I am doing wrong? Winzip gives "compressed folder is invalid or corrupted" adn winrar says it is either multipart or corrupted. Bin file doesn't seem there. Should it be there.

As this is the first time i am upgrading the an el-888 as it is my father- in -law's I am not sure of what i should be doing as I normally use a dragon cam. . Thanks.

Hi m8 .

Must be something by u wrong , try 2 reinstall winzip or winrar ( what are u using ) . Or try 2 clean your registry files on PC with some program .

I v checked files ok open with both programs .

Have tried to update the software on 2 different laptops which don't have rs232 leads. Have tried a usd to rs232 lead and all i get is checking serial port
