Default Eurovox max 3

Can somebody help me out here.

I have just recently bought a eurovox 3 from e-bay.Its already had the latest software installed.Pluged in then attempted to scan for all channels.I was told it should take around 40 mins to scan all channels. The first time it was still scanning for 2 hours.I knew something was not right.Attemped again i noticed that its only scans to 27%then freezes.

Could someone shed some lite on this for me.

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony
Have you got the Eurovox dbox, if so go to menu,
1 Scoll along to config default factory setting.
2. clear data, press ok.
3. scroll to the nearest area ie london, etc.
4 Scan full
5.if it does'nt work on the 1st area try again, i found luton worked for me.
but I can't get sky sport 1,2,3or films or ITV OR Childrens tv
I hope this helps. I'm also looking for answers good luck

Cheers for the reply guy's

I am in glasgow.I had the old nokia dbox before and never had any problems at all.Since plugging in the eurovox max 3 ( not dbox) i can't pick up any channels at all.The box is supposed to be already programmed? Is there anyway to tell if its being programmed.

When i scan to pick up the channels it says on the instructions that it should take 40 mins.It was still going at 2 hours.I stoped it then tried again.A few messages came on the screen no channels available, see service provider?

I also noticed that it only scans to 27% then locks up?

What's the best thing i should do regarding this box? Is there a better box i should get?

Cheers

Tony

It depends if your line is enabled, Some people have a box that is conencted and don't really use so the line is kept up, some people have Internet - so line is enabled, but all in all probably better to have some kind of service from them. If you have your phone with them at the moment, they will install a free digital box fior free.
