Default AC3 Sound

Hi, I've a Clarke Tech 1500 and some times in the audio track section I can see English AC3. But I get no sound when I select it. Does the 1500 not support this audio format and if not could you recommend a receiver that does?

Thanks

Hi glavster .

If your receiver have S/PDIF audio output ( like 1500 + model ) & u can connect 2 HI-FI receiver & enjoy in Dolby digital bitstream output . ( if not , then normal audio output )

AC3 - Audio Coding Number 3 ( Dolby Digital ) - generic procession codding of multichannel s streaming .
Audio format utilized by ATSC and DigiCipher II & supported as an optional audio standard by DVB and DSS.

Regards .
