Eurovox 2006 Not Working

Hi

I have a Eurovox 2006 that I cant get out of standby? Any ideas it powers up but wont scan! Does anywhere repair them?.

Hi

It was purchased from EBAY but the seller does not respond to my emails. The box is less than 12 months old but I cant find out who makes the eurovox 2006 so I can return it for repair/exchange.
Any help from anybody would be great.

Is he still a seller on ebay? - if so maye be get someone else to ask him an unrelated question to see if he replies - just to see if he is still around.
Failing that find some small type tv repair shop that maybe usually fix sat boxes, they would probably be able to help.

I had same problem.Bought from ebay.Wouldnt come out of standby.Does it have 4 horizontal lines on the display where the channel numbers should be?If this is so your box has come without software on it.You require the software which you can buy on ebay and an rs232 cable.Null modem cable.Takes about 2 minutes to do.Hope this helps

You can get the software on here though and buy a null modem cable from maplins
