Hi everyone, i am a complete novice at this so please bear with me. i have just bought a eurovox from ebay and wondered do I still have to subscribe to a cable provider for a package. I just wondered whether i need to pay for the minimum package for the box to work.

thanx in advance

Your cable must still be connected, normally Cable Co's manualy unplug you if you do not use the service. If they have not unplugged you then you will be fine. Best to test it first.

I had a friend who plugged me back in years back but now I use there broadband service which sends the signal in.

So best option is either have broadband or just get the lowest package available.
