DBox2 Help

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm new to this but I'm learning quick. I live in the Stafford area on Nthell, I have a Nokia Dbox 2 2x. I had Sportser 1.7 uk 05 installed, and I had all the channels available.
But 10 days ago half my channels stopped working, it says Error- Channel not available. Now the files & bouquets I'm using I downloaded off all-forums, as my box didn't find anything when scanning, but these files where great & I had all the channels, but not anymore.
I tried re-installing the files, didn't work, I tried changing the cams, Ucodes & forcing the keys, no change.
I then flashed the box with commando4 x2 Return of the Jedi. All installed ok, scanned using Brute Force & sym6887, still no channels found. So I put my files & bouquets in that I had from before, and the channels that weren't working still say Error-Channels unavailable. Once again I tried Changing the Ucodes, the cams & forcing the keys, but nothing.
Any ideas please???

There was a move around of channels (BBC Changed frequency) a few weeks ago. Have you tried a fast scan with your network id correctly setup? What is the BER and SNR of the working channels? Do you have a splitter that you could take out to try? Do you have a friend locally with a cable connection you could try?

Thanks for reply, I do have a splitter, but I have tried without, I've also tried the fast scan with the Stafford ID codes still no luck.
And unfortunately I don't know anyone that has a DBox, in fact, all my friends have Sky, I only have cable cus they were the 1st to offer Broadband in this area.

Try using an upto date image with your network ID setup and the service files that partly work and set sections scan to ON, usually this will find extra channels as you watch (you should occasionally see a message "updating channel lists - please wait" on your screen).

After a few hours reboot your box from the main menu (do not pull the plug) and see if it's found any of your lost channels.

Hi, thanks again. I've tried scanning with sections scan on & off (Didn't let me watch telly while doing though, it stayed on scanning screen). I've tried fast scan on & off with the id code & without. Brute force, sym6887 & sym6952, I've tried all combinations. With Sportser & Commando4 I've NEVER managed to find a single channel.
What does confuse me is on the channels that say Error, I can get FULL program listing & info. The signal strength is the same as the channels that work SNR 62230 & SIG 43433. The only differences seem to be, the BER goes from 0 to 90 while on channels that work ok, the BER is 20-60 and in the bottom left hand corner of that screen the PMTpid , Vpid & Apid say not available, while on the channels that work it has numbers.
Does this mean anything to anyone?? I do hope so.

The sections scan is a background scan and searches for channels while you are watching TV, a bit like how the box gets it's EPG data. Watch each available channel for about 15 minutes, then reboot the box from the menu and see if it's found any more channels.

Although it could have found the channels but not be enough signal to display them

Just wanted to say cheers to everyone who tried to help.
All's ok now. For some reason, my box just doesn't detect anything on scanning. So I managed to contact another user from All-Forums, who lives in my area, with a new set of service files, all's ok again.

Thanks
