Eurovox shortages? - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Is there a shortage of Eurovox Max boxes at the moment, as I have noticed that the are hardly and sellers on the bay at the moment - which has driven up the prices, I also read somewhere that they are going to stop making the dbox, if so what will replace it - anyone know.

Is there something better down the line coming out that we don't know

i bought 1 yesterday and found out that they are very hard to get, custom and exsise are not letting them into the country easily.

The D-Box hasn't been made for several years, I believe the dreambox is quite easy to get hold of.

Why did they stop making the D-Box then - is it because of what it can do and unusual that there was not a replacement to come out after it.

As for the Dreambox don't really know much about that one I am afraid.

And the Eurovox you can't even find out who makes it, and I didn't realize they were struggling to get them into the country.

I also have just bought another eurovox - hopefully get it soon as the sender managed to get the postcode wrong and send it to central london - should of been with me yesterday - now won't get it until Monday
