trying to revive old pace box

hi,
i have an old chipped ntl box with a fun 5 card, it hasnt been used since july last year, is it possilbe to reprogram this card???
and if so how, any help would be greatly appreciated as i have square eyes from searching the web.....

If you know the Box Key, you can use the files posted here - http://www.tech-tronix.com/cable-tv-...providers.html

You may be able to read the BK from your fun card if you don't know it - as a last resort just program the flash ONLY from that file onto your card and it may work with the existing ee file on the card.

thanks, lincsat but no joy,
i am using a infinity unlimited card reader but when i try to access the card it says 'reset failed' wrong atr??
is the card knackered and is there anyway of repairing it to the box without knowing the BK of the box??

With an elvis programmer you read the card and save the files to disk - Flash, int ee and ext ee. Depending on which files are on the card you might be able to read the ext ee with nagreedit or you may need to use picbined to read the files.
