Default Sky packages

IN the UK, the big news is that Sky is finally offering a huge package for tv reception, broadband, and just about everything but the kitchen sink. I might be tempted just to have one monthly bill rather than several, but it's still putting every thing into one bundle.

Would you be tempted?

I'd be tempted if I had Sky and didn't mind broadband for just domestic use - but at present I pay a higher rate for a business broadband connection I know is very reliable.

As long as the lines belong to and are maintained by BT, it almost doesn't make that much difference because most times the real connection depends on them. A BT engineer who was here the other day said that BT is going to sell off their broadband division completely. Hmm.

You can generally save money by bundling and it certainly saves time and trouble when it comes to bill-paying. But, make sure it is a company you trust first because there are usually contracts with these and if they aren't good for you, you are stuck. In fact, you may want to ask them if they would be willing to let you try it without contract for 1 month.

That's one thing I doubt SKy would ever agree to ...they like to get you with their claws and not let go. they're good on customer service and the like, but they're still grabbers lol.
