don t know about the filter, but the people I know who use eurovox don t bother. (the boxes won t talk back) as for the wiring, depends on how many boxes, how many rooms.(how many splitters you gonna use, and in what order). plus you have to bear in mind when you use splitters, you`re gonna lose about 3.7 db a time (for a two way one, more for a three way). so if you run three boxes, the third one may potentially be losing 11.1 db, depending on cable routing. if you want to mail me with more detail I`ll try to help some more. hope this is some help

i only want to run two boxes.at the moment i have a qamtex 2 way splitter 1 feed to modem the other to my box. i was thinking of splitting the feed to my box so then i have two feeds one for each box.
i bought the qamtex splitter from ebay dont know if they are fake as bought for £2 but mediachannels uk sell for £6.plus should i put an isolator on the end or is it a waste of time

you shouldn`t have any problems then, if all you`re doing is splitting your existing tv feed.just a case of another splitter. ( or alternatively change existing 2 way splitter for 3 way) I`m surmising it`s already fed through an isolator, just as it comes into your property. so don`t use another. never used qamtex, but if it already works for you
