is it possible to program the keys for sat into a dbox2 like the cable ones are ?

The keys are in the var/keys folder, different cams use different key files, keylist.txt, softcam.key etc. You can manually edit these files with keys quite easily. You can also use different cams in a satellite image.

You could really use a satellite image for a satellite box as some important files are stipped when making a cable image - satellites.xml for one
