Nerwbie to flashing.

Right I've had a box for a couple of months and works okish. Some channels not being picked up by scan or if they are they pixelate or just sound (Mainly discovery channels).I'm going to try to put a new image on the box (nokia).I've read move of the guides here and elsewhere.I've decided to use the latest image from Lincsat. Will I need to back up my Bouquets or am I best flashing image and then doing a full scan and using Lincsats bouquets.I have the area code for Sutton 40979 but where do I enter it?Is there anything else I have forgotten?I know this thread is large but I'm a bit wary as this is the first time I have messed around with the box.Any help appreciated Kev:ermm:

I always suggest backing up your existing image and settings first, just in case.

When you get the image loaded, you set your area from the Blue button advanced menu, after it stores and reboots do a fast scan keeping existing bouquets (you can always use yours later). Also switch on the sections scan, this is a background scan and could find extra channels that the fast scan misses.

Your pixelization could be a signal issue, but give it a go and let us know how you get on

It could be your signal is too high or too low - if you're going to call out telepest, hide your dbox and make sure your subscribed equipment is all connected.

make sure all your connections are tight take out any splitters u may have and try direct connection - if no joy then try a signal booster from argos:
