I fashed the Lincsat Beta 3.5 2x image ok but am unable to connect over the network.I've followed the same proceedure as with the origonal Sporster image (using the beginners guide) but when I try to view the dbox all I get from Ie is check you wrote addy or if you have permission to view folder.Everything seemed to be going so well until this lol.Any help appreciated.

Just a quick note.I've tried another pc and that was the same.Am I using the correct username root and password dbox2.Thanks

Did you change the IP address on the d-box? By default it's 192.168.200.124 with a gateway of 192.168.200.1

Yes set the ip addy to 192.168.0.100 subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 and Gateway to 192.168.0.1. I'm happy with the image.All I want to do is put on some games and mess around with the bouquets.Thanks Kev

No one else has reported any networking problems with this image. What results does the network test on the dbox give you?

Network test is ok.Now I'm getting the lock on all nonfta channels.Tried to use IFA but no joy.Is there any other way to put the sporster image on.Thanks

FTP it into /tmp and flash from the service menu

Couldn't access anything on the dbox.Eventually used the null modem method and uploaded a sporster image and everything seems ok.I don't think the origonal lincsat image had anything wrong maybe a bit of corruption while uploading or the dbox is playing up.Thanks for all your help especially Lincsat.Cheers
