Default Tutorial - How to Remove Old Devices & Drivers

Ok.. The following is a way to make all hidden devices (old drivers) show up in Windows to enable you to uninstall them..

[START] [RUN] Type CMD then [ENTER]
(if using Vista then [Ctrl + Shift + Enter] to open in Admin mode)
Type this command in the Run box..

SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1
[ENTER]

Now type..

DEVMGMT.MSC
[ENTER]

Device Manager will now open.. so in its VIEW menu select..

SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES

Now click on the '+' at each entry to expand the list of devices and those marked with a Red X or some of those items slightly 'Greyed Out' are the ones to remove..

To delete them [RIGHT CLICK] select Uninstall then [ENTER]

This will remove the old drivers completely after you uninstall those hidden redundant devices from your system..
Talking about systems.. if you are running Vista there are issues with Skystar drivers.. not all of which are easily solvable!

Next download DVBClear (attached) Unrar and then run it

For the Skystar select B2C2 in DVBDream's Device list
For the Nova select BDA in DVBDream's Device list

If using DVBDream
In the setup of Dream you first get the Language selection window and then the next window is the Device Selection window (Pic 1) which doesn't mention any driver versions until after the setup is complete.. Then it will display the driver you have installed as in Pic 2 below

You do require Setup4Pc which initiates the driver/device. You refer to it as B2C2
