Hope im in the right bit

Just purchased a sagem dbox2 sat box , for my lad (cant get cable where he is) he currently has uk sly , my question is ( Im used to working with Dbox2 cable) , what image do i use on this sat box or does it use the same images as the dbox2 cable , if so , is there any other plugins or extras that i need to flash to the box.

You can use a cable image but are better with one specifically written for satellite.

You will need a satellites.xml file and a matching scan.conf so you can scan for channels, only files for decoding nagravision are often in a cable image /keys folder.

Here's a satellites.xml file out of the CVS, try it with this and without a cables.xml and scan.conf and it should use the neutrino default, I don't have access to a satellite dbox2 to test it.

Otherwise you will have to have a search for a satellite image, I've not seen one for ages.

Hi, can anyone tell me where to find on a d-box 2 running sporster image the public key menu..not sure wether or not i should be asking this,if i shouldn't then i will apologise in advance and not ask silly questions again...!!
