Default Dragon cam or Diablo cam?

Anyone fortunate enough to have both type of cams?
Which do you reckon is the best?
Bearing in mind all aspects of the cam,(support/updates/reliability etc)
Comments appreciated.

Had both of these cams.
The diablo cam for me is the best as it can be formated if you use cas3 to update it.
The dragon cam was ok but took a lot more work to update and when I updated the cam this weekend it just refused to work any more so in the bin it went.
Back to the diablo cam I have 3 of them wireless,2.2 and 2.3 type and all work very well in my receiver.
So all in all go for the diablo 2.3 easy to update and more support for this cam.

Yes, never discard the dragon which is still one of the all-time greats. I am sure, with support it can be on par with the diablo. It can also be repaired by opening and soldering, or by external flashing with a good tool such as TopMax or Laptool, if you are adventurous.

No this one could not be repaired as when it was opened some of the surfaced mounted chips were either burnt or had droped off a case of the cam getting very hot in receiver as they can do.
I may buy another dragon cam but this will be the latest version of the cam.
Have had a wide range of cams at one time or another and one or two have been reliable and some have just died with no way to repair them.
As this is my hobby I do not mind spending mony to buy a new cam.

When opened up the cam had either burned or missing surface mounted chips so was not repairable.
Might buy another one at a later date.

Thanks very much for your comments.
Can I take it that at present you feel the Diablo Cam is the better of the two?
As regards "Binning" the dragon, **NEVER**.

As an Electronics Engineer.. almost nothing is irrepairable

Repaired one receiver where the owner had stabbed the circuit board with a screwdriver in a fit of rage .. leaving a 1cm hole with lots of cracks in the tracking surrounding it
lol Up and working in no time with the original fault fixed too..

The impossible we do at once.. Miracles take a bit longer
