Does the 6900 not have a loopthrough socket for a second receiver?

Thanks Tony mate but my TM 6900 is down stairs I would have to run another cable back up to the bedroom , it would be easier if i could put a splitter on the cable from my attic down to the bedroom if it can be done that way I dont know ,thanks mate take care best regards Roy.

well i wouldn,t recomend a splitter for two recievers.

change your lnb to a twin
(picture below) this will give you a second cable direct to your free sat reciever.

you can use your technomate to power your motor onto the desired satellite for your free sat reciever in your bedroom

Agreed digital doesn't cope with splitters, you need a twin feed or the loop through if you only use one at a time.

all this sharing dish is so complicated, and never totally satisfactery.
you can get a 45 cm dish, lnb and mountings for about 25 pounds.
the dish is small enough to be hidden in some discreet corner if your worried about planning regs.
