Boot loader image

Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the bootloader image?

Have a few days off work - and was just messing around with my dbox and cleaned up the bouquets and and got rid of channels not being used etc.. basically made it more user friendly for me and my family - edited service files so that there are no porn channels that can be accessed by my kids and nephews when they are around.

Thought it might be nice to change the picture/image

Ihave done a basic search through a few search engines and have only found out how you can do it on a dreambox not on a dbox

anyone any ideas?

much apprecieated.

Digitalman.

I think after having a look around through FTP:

var/tuxbox/boot

by going through the abovethe following files are accessible logo-fb and logo-lcd

these files im presuming logo-fb is for the image that comes up when you boot ur box up and logo-lcd is the image that comes up on your dbox lcd when u boot ur dbox up.

Is that correct?

That is correct and the application that will convert images and upload to your box is called tuxbox logoviewer

If you have version 0.40, go to einstellungen then sprache then click English and away you go.

To convert an image select the logo-fb tab, click load or laden, slect the image to convert and click OK, if yes/no boxes appear (they are about borders around the picture), keep pressing no. When it's done the image appears in the box in the application. You can then FTP it to your D-Box
