What am I doing wrong?

Hi Guys,

I've had a motorised system for around 5 years now but I haven't been programming cards or used my CAM's in a long time but I recently updated my old receiver and bought a 6900HD and it seemes to be working fine and I have added several satellites etc but the patch doesn't seem to be working for me!

I downloaded the latest magic patch, put it onto my usb stick, uploaded it to my receiver from the MENU (USB - Data transfer), the file uploaded fine and my receiver re-booted. The problem is, Premier, Polsat, ORF etc are all still scrambled? What am I doing wrong? :confused_smile:

Some channels are working, like MTV, VH1 on Hotbird, but not all of what should work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I keep reading about the softcam but wasn't sure if this meant the actual patch.
How do I upload the softcam and where to? and how do I turn on the path and softcam, I assumed all I needed to do was upload?

I think I have managed to sort it, :thumbs_up: Thanks Parad0x_i

I just wrote the softacam file to the receiver the same way as I did with the patch and it seems to be working now, I have the Premier channels etc working now so it must have been the right thing to do?

I would appreciate it if someone can confirm that's all there was to it?

Also, can someone explain how exactly you 'turn on' the patch as all I did was upload that and the softcam via a USB stick and that seems to have done it

You did it right m8.. :thumbs_up: and that's all there is to it..

The patch is obviously already turned on so don't worry about it now..
You may like to watch tps channels too.. using PlugDVB & Gbox (sssp) if your Tm is permanently connected to your Pc that is.. as the Pc will send the keys continuously to the Tm to clear tps
