Default contemplating buying eurovox max or dbox

im looking for some information regarding the dbox and eurovox boxes. As i understand it the dbox is more of a multimedia box and can be used to view channels via ur pc etc. I am only interested in viewing on my tv at the moent though so am leaning more towards the eurovox at present. Are there any screenshots of the eurovox epg out there? also has anyone got experience of the starview boxes? any info would be great!

it all depends on what you want from a box!

what do you want your box to be able to do?

i have a Nokia d-box 2 have had it for one year bar a couple of minor niggles it has been perfect - no complaints. Its pretty easy to set-up too and if all you want to do is have access to "a few EXTRA" channels it will be money well spent.

its the best £88 i have ever spent - I can tell you that!

what area are you in telepest or nthell?

its fairly simplistic - once its up and running you would have no problems just the occasional re-scan to pick up new channels

have a look on flebay these days they tend to go for around anywhere between £90 - £120 on that site we all frequent!

I saw a really good guide in word format earlier on today - cant find it now.
have a look around through the forums u should find it - its a very good basic guide to dbox 2's.

perhaps if linscat is reading this he might be kind enough to put a link to the post on this thread!
