Hello:
My 5000HD-C fails to supply enough output current when feeding 13V (vertical polarization) to my LNB + motor setup in movement: the output voltage folds back to 5V at which value the motor shuts off. I've checked the current consumption of the setup - it is far from exceed 400mA that the 5000HD-C is specified for. There is no problem at 17V (horizontal polarization). Do you think this is something that could be fixed via a firmware update?? (this could be possible if the current limiting was set-up via software). Thank you. |

The question is I guess which release of the software that you are using.
Afraid my positioning is done old style by an E and W buttons that was fitted years ago when the sat box I was using motor failed and I moved to a new type of motor that it didn't support. I always twigg it in any case.

You could always swap the software for a different release [accepting the downgrade issue] and see whether it's something that the developers of the p versions created but other than that, I'll pass on it.
