Latest patch only allows fta recording. Try patch from dec and it will allow encrypted recording.

Latest patch for tm5000 super series should allow you to record anything..
As for how to record,
Just press record button on remote..
If you want to schedule a download go to channel you want to record.. press epg..
press record.. a pop up menu will appear.. enter which channel /time/duration you want to record.. Put timer to on..
that should be it..

Thank you for your answer.

I've a Technomate 5200 D USB receiver (not the Super model), that's the problem I guess...

I installed latest version a few days ago.
It is possible to record FTA channels only without problems BUT it is not possible to record PAY-TV channels like Premiere.

Just posted for you
This patch allows the use of recording on enrypted channels via the use of the epg recording function. You will need to load softcams to clear channels as the patch is old.

@fearona
Thank you so much!

Now the receiver is still recording....

I will have a look to the file when it is finished.

Why is this feature disabled in the new available update (147p) for the Non-Super-models or other older firmwares I tried?

But I don't care... - now it works with EPG.

...but strange, recording directly doesn't work...
