i have locked myself out of my dm500. no ip address, nothing displayed on tv, serial port no access and it turns off after about 5 mins. anyone any ideas please

Were you by any chance using a Gemini image?..

.. and is your box a clone?

it was running gemini with no problems i ended putting wrong software in wrong place

leave box unplugged for ten mins then switch it back on m8. It may take some time give it a few mins. If that fails you will need to reload firmware from dreamworld via serial null modem cable . Hopefully that will get you back to square one.

tried to load default software via serial null modem cable. it wont load.

Hi m8,

Did you tried by Ethernet cable ? It's not very advisable but maybe it works..

Can you establish COM ? Try with another pc...
