Default DigiAlb Review

Well, I finnaly went out and got a DigiAlb Card and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. I live in the Slovak republic so for me DigiAlb gives me a nice handfull of movie channels and a good mix in original (English) language. There's also some channels (digi+ and Top Channel) that have modern popular TV series on.

A listing is provided at http://www.digitalblisting.com/ of which I've set up links to an Open Office document so I can print out a TV guide.

The best thing is that my wife and I can in general feel like we can see a good movie sometime in the evening if we want. There's 6 movie channels of which 1 shows new movies always and the other 5 show new and newer movies. We don't have to wonder if we got "unplugged" and can't unwind with a good tv show on those nights we really want to.

Also, it has tons of English football coverage all day.

Cons would be it's not D+ or premeere (which almosts offers TOO MUCH choice), and some programs on some channels look like it's comming off of VHS or VTR quality, but this is also no prob).

I got my card from eBay (uk). A 13 month DigiAlb card for 120 GBP which is a very competative price, comming to less than 10 GBP a month.

So, if you can get DigiAlb I recomend them.
If anyone can tell me more about ART/Arabesque I'd like to know what the channel line up is and what it's like for future reference.

Cheers.

Hello !

Apart channels and programs that you listed above Digitalb have 5 Premium Channels all dedicated for football but you should have another package called "Super Sport".
With "Super Sport" smartcard you can watch :
- English Premier League
- German Bundesliga
- Italian Serie A
- French Premier League
- Spanish Premier Division
- Portuguese Premier League
- Greek Premier League

and almost important events for every kind of sport.
In Albania this kind of package "SuperSport" cost around 160 Euro for a full year subscription.

Regards !

Well m8s,

I don't know about the rest of you, but my Digialb package gives me all the Premier sport league stuff described above (Premium 1-5) which offers tons of sport. I don't know if I have the other sport channels as of yet as I have not scanned for all of them.

Anyway, overall I'm pretty happy w/ DigiAlb as it gives me some good channels I can rely on. It's nice to get D+ and all and tps on occation (it would be nice if they offered a smaller "EU wide" package) but we're happy to have some nice movie programs we know will be on.

czechrite

glad to see you are sorted out , does it go straight into your reciever or did you have to get a cam ?

yes these cards are very popular in the uk for the footy although there was talk that people who got there card after a certain time did not get the sport, also i belive you can renew the card over the phone and it is a bit cheaper that buying a new card, think the only thing that does my head in with the films is the subtitles although they seam to be up to date

ps digi + open again lol
