can i watch different channels on different tv's?

Hi dudes

I have a technomate 1500ci on a motorised dish. The box has a loop out on the back and i was wondering whether i could link this up to another room using the loop out and buy my self another technomate and then watch different channels on that box at the same time as watching football on the other box?

is this possible?

the missus is moaning now that i have access to the football

Hi, sorry but no you can not do this as polarity is given by the voltage of the lnb, only solution would be to get a LNB with 2 outputs but then you could only watch chennels of the same satellite in the 2 boxes so if you change satellite in one box you would have to watch channels of that satellite in the other

the only receivers i know that can do what your asking is the manhattan st range ofreceivers, this is from there website.
*************************************************
SCR Technology Available Across Entire Plaza Range - 15/09/05
Manhattan are proud to announce the immediate availability of Single Cable Router technology across their entire range.

The Single Cable Router (SCR) system allows up to four satellite receivers to share a single LNB while retaining full flexibility of band / polarity switching. It's as though each receiver had its own dedicated LNB without the expense and complexity of four independent cable runs.
With SCR, just one cable from the SCR LNB feeds all four receivers one-after-the-other making installation much easier, less time-consuming and less expensive as well as eliminating unnecessary mess and cables.

Eurosat is now the first to offer SCR functionality across its entire range of Manhattan Plaza receivers. With the most comprehensive feature list, along with powerful and flexible user-friendly user menus, the best satellite receiver range just got better!

The range starts with a fully-featured value-for-money free-to-air receiver ST100 and is topped by the industry leading PVR-ready ST550 with DiSEqC(tm) positioner, embedded Irdeto and 2 Common Interface slots.

Single Cable Router LNB systems are available from a number of leading manufacturers including FTA.

For more information on the Plaza range please visit: http://www.plaza-st.com
