Default Washing up liquid.

When rendering using a sand and cement mix, add a little washing up liquid, it will help it stick to the wall.

damping the wall before the render is also good practice. a diluted pva (unibond or similar) mixture will also help addhesion.

I was told that washing up liquid would weaken the bond of the cement. Although I've never noticed, just add a little.

also washing up liquid straight out of the bottle is great as a lubricant! just put a dab on your finger & wipe it onto the job .. like screw threads .. dont use it in the engine ... God forbid. .. mind u .. could be fun as long as u video it for u-tube!! ha

and good for rubber parts .. like fitting tight engine mounts into cars .. like a mates old Citroen.

getting bike tyres on wheels .. (thats an old chestnut)

also its the best thing to move washing machines on a dry floor ... and it can be wiped up to clean after .. or left to dry till next time! just squirt it in front of the feet. slips like Torville & Dean.

theres no eNd to thiS list.

Just delays the hardening process.

I don't know if your referring to cement work but I think if used with rubber applications it will perish the fittings.

if you are using w/liquid for rendering, be carefull cos it is not make the mortar waterproof and if you use to much the mortar will end up to fluffy and will crumble.
one or two drops in every mix should do
