Just noticed the official download site has posted this. Lets hope it lives up to everybodys expectations.
Bookmarks are now working as expected on my recordings. Also turning the stb off and on while the hdd is on no longer causes the disc to be come unreadable. |

OK my verdict on 1.47 and 1.47p using that technical term is that it's bollocks.
Have my posting: You will have to forgive my English but I tried 1.47 without the p to see whether CT themselves had fixed the disk support problem that was all to evident to many people with 1.43p. Answer No. It's complete rubbish that CT can ship software that doesn't support users drives, mine being a Buffalo Turbo 750GB. Lets fix the drive support issue before putting the bells and whistles on the p version. That annoying red button also blinks when time shifting on play back. That needs to be under user control so you can say blink or not blink yourself. All in all after waiting so long it's not usable, so those same issues that were in 1.43p are in 1.47 and 1.47p. They need to change their programmers or improve QA of their work. Essentially the bookmarks always worked in 1.38p, not in 1.35 CT original. Now the same guys that lashed up 1.43p have lashed up 1.47 and that is now p available but it's got the same very big bug in that it doesn't wait around long enough while your drive is spinning up. Somebody wants to slap the programmers around since this problem became present back in June with 1.43p and it's just been inherited on the official CT version. See what happens when you use contract programmers. My test is switch on and off the box to see how many times it picks up the drive.... err what you do when you use PVR functionality !. The other things it still doesn't support radio recording. Something that the p developers dropped and has been passed on to the official version and the p version now. Lets all email CT to complain since clearly they are not aware of this problem. I've started already.

On:
Hello With this new soft the ORF map does not function in the map Slot!? That is badly, now needs one a module ................ why? evdg Go back to 1.38p, it's the most reliable release so far and use a Diablo for more clever stuff that the p can't do, take the p keys from here. 1.47p is suppose to do the TPS patch thingey, but I won't be asking about it since 1.47 and 1.47p aren't workable to me.
