Hi all
I just changed my Technomate 5300 to an Echolink 3020 IR Plus because we lost TPS and apparently these boxes are one of the few that can view and auto update TPS. The eBay auction clearly stated it was fully patched and auto updating on TPS already amoung ather channels. I am not at all convinced the box is patched as its not showing any non FTA channels and also, why when i scan on Astra 19 does it not pick up the Premiere Sport Portal? I had it on my Technomate...

So far, I'm unimpressed! I hope I can work out how to patch it from the guides here, but that won't answer why the Sport Portal isn't there...

Just to add, i did a factory reset and rescan. I then used the 2020 code in the Menu to enable CAS which worked, then 2121 to enable TPS Keys. I still can't get any TPS channels. All encrpted. Is there a specific channel that auto updates?

I'm new to this box so any help is much appreciated. I am still not sure if any of this means the box is patched or not!!

hello,
I have the same receiver and had them open for a while......then they scrambled after a few months,
tried updating and upgrading but still no chance of getting back the channels

tried to contact the person who installed it he said he'll come next week to do it for me, so if there's any info I get from him I'll pass it on to you as I'm using exactly the same reciever
