clarke-Tech 500hd c and mortec sg2100a motor
My clarke-Tech 500hd combo is no lonsg2100a able to drive my new mortec sg2100a after leaving my old house, i bought another mortec sg2100a having installed it in my new house, my receiver is no longer able to drive the dish. i caleed the installer and complained that the moter was faulty, he brought in his dreambox 500 and to my surprise, the motor is working fine. my motor now moves only if i keep using the remote contro to push it west or eas, and often it moves to the last point of either east or west passing the sat. i want it to move to pls i need help Moved: Do not post in files sections - Read our rules! |

Save your channels and reset your receiver to factory default settings..
Reset the motor by sending it to centre and then using a paper-clip pressing the small hidden button (next to l.e.d) on the motor. Press and hold it for a second or two and the green light should go to Orange and back to Green Make sure the coax F connectors are all made properly.. see the guides here:- http://www.satmoz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41400 and http://www.satmoz.com/forum/showthre...132#post170132 then try again before any patching is done.. Long coax.. poorly made leads.. and messed-up settings can do this.. but the fact that your motor is working and also your receiver can move it means it's the settings that are corrupted..

your advice is wonderful. My dish is 75 feet from my ct 500hd combo 'cos we were looking for a position where tree would not block the dish. The installer used the cheapest co axial cable from chinese store
i went to woodies diy today to buy one. There i saw many types One has sat.rg6 written on it but its fibrous wire has white colour like aluminium. the other one has browm colour but nothing is written on it Which should i go for? do not hesitate to help me please! |
