Save your channels and reset your receiver to factory default settings..
Reset the motor by sending it to centre and then using a paper-clip pressing the small hidden button (next to l.e.d) on the motor. Press and hold it for a second or two and the green light should go to Orange and back to Green

Make sure the coax F connectors are all made properly.. see the guides here:-

and

http://www.satmoz.com/forum/showthre...132#post170132

then try again before any patching is done..

Long coax.. poorly made leads.. and messed-up settings can do this.. but the fact that your motor is working and also your receiver can move it means it's the settings that are corrupted..

your advice is wonderful. My dish is 75 feet from my ct 500hd combo 'cos we were looking for a position where tree would not block the dish. The installer used the cheapest co axial cable from chinese store
i went to woodies diy today to buy one. There i saw many types One has sat.rg6 written on it but its fibrous wire has white colour like aluminium. the other one has browm colour but nothing is written on it Which should i go for?
