Am I an Idoit ?

Ok I have a tms1500.
I have downloaded the latest patch for it .
I have downloaded the latest darkman loader from this forum.
What now? I have looked at the idiots guide and it says search for keys but I have been told that I dont need the keys just the latest patch which I have.
So what do I do once I have conected the RX to my laptop?
I get the darkman loader set but then I become stuck.
please help,
Do I need the softkeys cos the ones to download from this forum seem to be old.

Re: Am I an Idoit ?

1) Unzip the patch and loader.
2) Open the loader and make sure your on the tab called software.
3) Browse for the unzipped patch file on your PC.
4) Once found make sure the cable is plugged into the receiver and PC.
Then click Auto Detect.
5) Once the loader has found the receiver all you need to do is click Connect.

You will see the patch being uploaded to the receiver from your PC and on the front panel of the receiver.

Once its done and finished, unplug the cable and your done.

All software that has an extension of .zip or .rar are shrunk in a sense. What you need is a program that allows you to open this zip or rar file.

The files you then see you can extract to a folder say called patch to your desktop. Once the files are unzipped in the folder then do the above.

If your using the lestes patch and its still working, you dont need codes just yet.

Get used to extracting and uploading the files first to your receiver.

Crawl before you can run M8.

first make a folder in your doc's call it patches, download your patches
to this folder it makes it easier to find for loading your receiver.
when you download a patch it's in a zipped folder you have to make sure you
take the firmware patch out of the folder. do this click right on the
zipped folder the select extract and when you see the firmware patch
lwft click and hold down on the patch and drag it to the list of folders on the left and drop it in the folder where you first explored it in then go to the back
arrow at the top of the window and click back to where you first started to explore and you will see the patch fimware is out of the folder and ready to
download to your receiver.
now have a look at the attached doc and it will tell you how to patch
download and keep for future help.
