hi m8, these might seem daft queations, i'm trying to narrow it down,
first is it the correct patch, you do have a tm 1500ci. if yes
are you loading it correctly, is the panel set correctly, if all is correct
are you loading this way. iv'e never seen your problem when patching.
----------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO PATCH A TECHNOMATE 1000 SERIES RECEIVER.
***********************************************
[YOU NEED A NULL MODEM CABLE]FEMALE-TO-FEMALE CONNECTIONS.
AND IF YOUR USEING A LAPTOP WITHOUT A COM PORT YOU ALSO NEED
A [USB-TO-SERIAL CONVERTOR]
************************************************** *******
first make a folder in your programme files and call it
IE:[patch files] and download the patch files to this folder
it will make it easier to find them for patching your stb:
************************************************** **
next download the loader panel and the latest software patch file.
from the technomate software section, on the forum.
next open and run the loader software, put a shortcut on your
desktop for future use, then put the loader panel folder in your
doc's where it will not get deleated.by doing this with the loader
it saves downloading this loader panel everytime you patch the stb.
************************************************** ***
open and explore the zipped folder containing the patch in the
folder you made, making sure you take the patch firmware out
of the zipped folder. then it's ready to load when needed.
************************************************** **
[this is how to patch your receiver]
first make sure the receiver is on and in standby mode,
connect the null modem cable from the com port on your pc:
to the rs232 port on the rear of the receiver.
click the shortcut on your desktop to open the loader panel.
next click the software box on the panel [to set for patching].
then click the browse box, and a window will open to find the
the folder with the firmware patch, when you find the patch
left click it, then click open on the window panel,it will
close and return to the loader panel, next click auto detect box.
a panel opens [com 1]it says connect your receiver and turn it on.
now click exit on this panel, then click connect on the loader panel.
the panel com 1 re-appears,you will see the patch version detected.
click the start box,and you will see the patch being loaded,it says
>sending>erasing>writing>version detected>when this has loaded
exit the loader panel, turn off your receiver.remove the
null modem cable, turn the receiver back on and your channels
will open, you have now patched your receiver.
************************************************** *
if any channels dont open you might need to add the latest keys.
you do this the same way as patching after changing the loader
panel to keys. and loading the softcam keys software.the same
way as you loaded the patch.
