these thechimate systems seam a good buy
aint got on myself as i have a dream box/skystar 1 card and a lemon 020 lol but from what i see is they are well supported etc and seam reasonable priced, the dream box is a great bit of kit although the cheaper 500 have a problem with its flash memory and unless you are a wizz ith a computer i would stay a way, the skstar 1 cards are a bit exspensive when you consider you could get a reasolnable reciever for the same price or if you have a good computer 1.5 ~2 gig ish why not a skystar 2 card although there is no tv out and you will have to watch it through your pc but they are good for feeds . my other system my lemon 020 that you can now pick up cheap well not too shaw about the support in that updates are there but not as fast best thigh to do is say how much you got to spend and some may come up with a option Teddy |

Hi, it really depends on what you are trying to achieve. I'd suggests you start from basic and move on.
At first I had a 80cm dish and a cheap (but patchable) receiver. It served me well until I got a bit bored and started to add bits to it. A HH motor set me off £49.99 but worked well. You can install it yourself and you'll find lots of useful tutorials around. Most important, ensure the receiver handle usals and get your pole positioned right, the rest is a piece of cake. My only real investment was for a DM7025 (a bit pricey!), but I have to tell you, despite what you may read around, it is a nice piece of kit that can do more than I bought it for... If you're a new to sat, you're going to have a lot of fun. |
