Can someone point me in the right direction..apologies I am a noob

Have updated my Xcam via PCMCIA loader
Loaded Xloader boot loader in Block 0
Loaded 3200 update in Block 2

Not sure what to do with teh keys but have loaded softcam.key in Block 14

When I look at the Conditional access module in the rec menu it shows me Orion 3 200, , when I click on the module is shows me the following
"No Smart Card Installed"
"CAS IO Settings"
"Serial Update"
"Card Update"
"Activate Memory Read"

Is thsi right..?... dont seam to be able to view any scrambled channels on Hotbird... any pointers would be gratefully recieved

at first you have to update the bootloader in block 0 with the new boot orion3.200

and then orion3.200 in block 2

and then softcam orion 3.200 in block 14

and you have polsat packadge in hotbird.

Be avare that not possible to downgrade to older soft again when loaded 3200.

Is not true.
You can downgrade at 2024 or 2042 for example without any problems, i did many times.

Sounds like sweet music in my ears mate, as i was told on other forum,that not possible to downgrade from 3200 to 3002/3008.:sad_smile:
Could you explain how to do it please?:regular_smile:

As normally,

I put the firmware that I like in block 2
then the Keys in block 14

If after I want to come back at 3200 then I have to create again the block 0.
The block is only necessary for firmware 3200.

I have done many times this change operation with the laptop, I dont know with the case (but since the firmware 3200 came out I remember that there were a problems regarding update with the case)
