just wondering if anyone knows how to set up usals on a ctech 1500? went to my closest satellite (5w) selected usals, typed in my lat and long. (Lat: 53:51:38N (53.86044)
Lon: 9:17:16W (-9.28788) and saved it. Now that sat showes its on usals, but all others still show diseq 1.2. What to do? :help: p.s. how do i add new sats to my existing list? |

Sorry m8.. only just saw your post..
You have to alter the setting to USALS for each satellite.. Also check in Dish Settings for each sat that the LNB is switched ON and set to universal 9.750 - 10.600 To add a satellite to the list go to an empty spot on the list shown as '----'.. Press the Red button (Rename) and a text editor will open. Type in the name of the sat Turn USALS to ON.. Enter the satellites postion in degrees (for West sats you may need to put for example:- 359º for 1W (360º - 1º) Now refer to lyngsat.com and get the first valid transponder frequency for that satellite and enter it where it says Frequency Press Menu & Save.. and then select Auto scan with network ON for that satellite and it should find all the other transponders and hence the maximum channels available.. :wink_smile:
