Default Updating a TM-6900 Super

Hi all
Happy new year to all..

Not quite sure if this is the correct place for this post, so please accept my appology if it isn't.

I have purchased a TM-6900 super hd receiver, and had no problems what so ever in updating the softcam keys. After updating the Receiver with the latest patch from the Technomate site, it's number 668 dated 17/12/09, the receiver will no longer recognise the softcam key file. I have tried different usb sticks with no joy.
I am just wondering if this is a glitch with the latest patch ?
At the moment I have put the older version patch 667 back onto the receiver and don't have the problem.
Also is there any benefit from having the latest patch ?

Many thanks
Mike

I'm not 100% sure about this particular model but on the basis of the others the softcam or keys won't work unless you use a patch as provided at this link here,,.the patches are what is provided by the TM site but with the necessary changes to allow the softcam to work,...forget what is on the TM site this patch is what you need and is the latest one,...regards

Thanks for your reply. I now know that not all the updates from the Tm site will recognise the softcam keys, and I need to watch the forums for the latest patches. Again many thanks for your reply..
