dvbviewr 4.0 signal but no progs?

just installed dvbviewer pro 4.0 from download section. I have scanned channel but while scanning it show white signal above progress bar in different transponder but no program is coming.

i m using.

skystar hd2
windows xpsp3
scanning transponder insat 3c-4cr

Maybe you have no signal or low signal on the satellite you are scanning..

nope I have just pulled out cable from my existing dth provider. it also shows me full signal levels around 98%.

krishn just tell me your approximate location (place name!) as i don't have the time or inclination to start looking up your longitude & latitude..

Ok m8.. i wanted to elimate the possibility of you having no reception first..
Seems like you should be able to receive 3C & 4R with ease..

Did you try another viewer so that you can see if it is DVBv that is the problem..?

I have tried other viewer like provdvb, dvb viewer downloaded from some boards but not able to scan channels. I can scan channels in dvbdream.

I am able to see channel "Nameless 11607_3" which is mpeg2 and qpsk.

Ok m8.. well that screenshot looks fine with the nameless channel..

So it seems like nothing is wrong with your setup.. so now i am wondering is it because you are trying to watch channels that are still encrypted..

Are you using Vplug ?(may or may not be useful for those sats)

Any nameless channels can be renamed once identified in that channels properties (right click on the nameless channel and select properties)
Sometimes just updating in properties will rename it automatically..

Many of the DVBv downloads do not work and it is advised to purchase your own copy as i did myself.. then you find things that may not have worked before suddenly come right..
