TM 6900 Newbie

Hi,

After many years using Humax 5300 VACI took the plunge and bought a TM 6900 Super.Tuned in today to 13e,19e,5e,53e,9e.Easy to tune in,most all there.Tonight started playing with new 'patch'.I have downloaded from Technomate latest patch and uploaded to receiver.I believe it is 6.74 on 7-3-2009.However the channels have not cleared-what am i doing wrong-should i look elsewhere for patch.

H/w is 1.0 so boot is 1.0

CH version F012+STD 001 if that makes sense!

Any help appreciated.

No I have not.Where would i get the softcam from? I have just loaded the latest from technomate web site.

How do I load it? Similiar to STB?

Why why why, are you using the latest patch from Technomate site??,....that won't work and open channels for you,....the patch you should be using is on this site here.........you don't need a softcam,...read through the help files and tutorials they will explain everything you need to get the receiver runnng properly,.............Admin Compass has gone to a great deal of time and trouble to prepare these so follow and read them they will help you,.....regards

hi m8,
if you have loaded the 674 software from technomate.com
this is not the patch it's the official opperating software and
this will not open channels, you will find the patch in the technomate
section on the forum but make sure you use the correct patch there are
two patches [one for the super model] and [one for the original model]
you can only use the tm 6900 super patch and after you have loaded this patch you can then load the tm softcam from the forum
at this time thor 1w is the sat with the most channels open with the patch
there is'nt much open on astra 19e or hotbird 13e with the patch there a
channels open on sirus 5e
